Demo minimum PC

These figures are the demo's minimum. Recommended memory is 16 GB, on Windows 10 or 11. The full game asks for 4 GB of RAM and 250 MB of storage, and it has not named a processor or graphics card yet.

Rendering driver

Integrated graphics may need the launch option --rendering-driver opengl3. That option makes the game render inaccurately. The September playtest used the same flag to get past startup crashes, and the picture was wrong while it was on. It is a temporary bypass, not a supported look.

Outdoor rally at 6 to 4
An outdoor rally. The scoreboard reads home 6, away 4, match point, set 7. A name tag reads Somnus.

Which download to open

Install the free demo if you want to play now. The Free Nextfest Demo update points at app 5401090, and the demo date is October 19, 2026. It is a limited time demo with 1v1s, 2v2s, 3v3s, 4v4s, 5v5s, and 6v6. Offline bots, online play, and character customization are in that build.

The playtest is older and separate. It opened September 23, 2026, and a public playtest was already live before the demo existed. Patch notes through v0.77, and the 0.77.1 Quickplay rollback, belong to that playtest. v0.77 is the last update for this playtest, and its online version bump is required to keep playing online. Installing 5401090 is the current free download. Opening 5037230 opens the earlier test, not a second name for the demo.

The full game stays on November 4, 2026, and it is still coming soon. It is Windows only, and it is not a free release. Replay mode, for highlights and cinematic moments, is part of the full game and is not in the demo. Menus are in English.

Footage and the driver flag

temkosoft's video just volleyball | 3 Full Matches (Raw Gameplay) is rzmzlzZ1BOI. Everything in that footage is still being worked on, so nothing shown is final. Play the video on this page for those three matches. The Next Fest trailer plays on the home page.

The outdoor picture shows a finished point: grass court, home 6, away 4, match point, set 7, and a name tag reading Somnus. Somnus is a name on a player in that rally, not a character you unlock. Use the table above when you need the app number, and use this picture when you want to see how a point looks.

If the demo fails to draw correctly on integrated graphics, add the launch option --rendering-driver opengl3. Rendering becomes inaccurate while it is on. The September playtest used the same option to get past a startup crash, and the picture was wrong then too. Turn the flag on only for that case. It is not a quality preset, and the demo minimum still asks for a dedicated Vulkan or DirectX 12 card with 2 GB of VRAM, 8 GB of RAM, a 4-core CPU at least at the i5-4590 or Ryzen 3 1200 level, Windows 10 64-bit, and 350 MB free.
